We are selling these in themed packs:
  • I love blue – predominantly blue
  • Pinks are my thing – warm tones, think pink, apricot, rust, red
  • All the colours – deliciously colourful fabrics
  • Mod and retro – fun, cheeky fabrics that put a smile on your face
  • Surprise me – a mix of the above
As all purse fabric combos are unique, each themed pack will be different from the photos shown.
These purses make great gifts and are roomy enough to use as a clutch purse for that quick dash to the shops or a night out.

Zip Purses with real meat!!
It is no secret that the cost of living crisis has forced many people into food insecurity. We find it hard to comprehend that everyday folks are unable to feed their families.
Previously we have raised funds for OZharvest, one of Australia’s largest charities committed to supplying food to those in need. We did this with our Apple Pin Cushions.
Now we would like to do it with zip purses and you can help!!!
Purchase a bundle of three purses for $99.99 and we will donate $24.99 to Ozharvest. That equates to 50 MEALS.

  • Beautifully handmade by Julie using excess quality fabrics
  • Fully lined with a delightful coordinating fabric and interfaced for each quality
  • Zip closure with a handmade tassel

Our workshop cancellation policy?

If you register for a workshop and later you need to cancel your attendance then different refunds occur depending on how much notice we are given and on the facilitator for the workshop. The following refunds apply:

Workshops where the facilitator is Julie Hillier or Maurice Hillier - 

  • 8 days or more before the scheduled workshop time - we will refund 100% of the workshop fee
  • 2-7 days before the scheduled workshop time - we will refund 50% of the workshop fee or if you prefer, a voucher to the value of 50% of the workshop fee
  • Within 1 day before the scheduled workshop time - sorry, no refund

Other workshops -   

  • Sorry, no refund.

Should Ministry of Handmade cancel a workshop - 

If, for any reason, Ministry of Handmade has to cancel a workshop we will offer you a choice of:

  • full refund
  • a voucher to the value of the workshop
  • a transfer to the same workshop being held at another time

Events

Events are defined as the programs and workshops that are not single workshops held at our studio in Bridgeman Downs. For example: Makers Escape is an event. Our refund policy and cancellation policy will vary from event to event and will be explained on the page containing the registration form for the particular event.

Please note - if you have to cancel - communication is the key - please let us know as soon as possible of your circumstances and your intentions.

What forms of payment do you accept?

When registering for a workshop you will be taken to a payment page - we use PayPal. PayPal allows you to pay using your own PayPal account or (if you don't have an account) you can pay using your credit card or your debit card. When you get to the payment page - it will look like this:
