What a night!!

Well, by all accounts the Frocktail Evening was a huge success!

My heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended, helped out and/or donated beautiful raffle prizes to help raise funds for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation! It was a wonderful opportunity to support a worthwhile cause and to also celebrate the first birthday of Ministry of Handmade.

Since Saturday night, I have received great feedback on the success of the evening. I glad that those who attended enjoyed the chance to mingle and chat with others, all lot of whom are in creative businesses for themselves and following their passions.

Since starting Ministry of Handmade over the last 12 months I have met some wonderful people and made many lovely new friends. I am excited to have found my “happy place” and look forward, with genuine excitement, to expanding my business with lots of new creative workshop ideas.

I don’t have a final fund-raising total yet for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation as some donations are still coming in, but I think we will get close to $900.00. The response to the raffle was great and I am happy that, with so many prizes, everyone went home with something!

With lots of hints about doing it again, the Frocktail Evening may become a regular event on the Ministry of Handmade calendar!

Enjoy the lovely images of the night supplied by Madeleine Peterson from Etta Photography who was one of our very generous raffle prize donors.
