In this session we’ll discuss various techniques and materials for covering a foam seat cushion and talk about the best option for your project/future projects.

Think outdoor furniture, kitchen chairs, stools, TV chairs and so on.

Julie will share her secrets to getting a really professional looking finish including:

• Why use wadding and how to attach it
• Calculating your fabric requirements
• Marking and cutting your fabric
• Pros and cons of piping
• Making piping
• Where to put your zip and how to insert it
• Attaching piping
• Attaching side wall
• Fitting your foam insert easily and neatly

If you have a project in mind then please have ready:

• The seat cushion
• The dimensions (width, length and height in cm)
