Soft Shades
Sunday 25 August
Sunday 25 August 2019 @ 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
$145.00
Over the last few years, I have received lots of enquiries about soft lampshades. These lampshades are made from two layers of fabric: an outer layer and a lining. Rather than having PVC that creates the structure of the shade, these lampshades are made using a metal frame to which the fabric is glues and stitched!
We’ll start with a simple empire shade with smooth sides, but with the techniques you learn, you’ll be able to develop your skill further to make gathered or pleated shades down the track .
