Found the perfect dress but it’s missing our beloved pockets? Fear not friend, this workshop will have your pocket needs covered and you’ll soon be able to snaffle your essentials handbag-free in style!

Learn how to add in-seam pockets either to a new project or to an existing dress. Using the ModularME In-Seam Pocket pattern you’ll be guided through sewing your own pocket as well as positioning pockets at the right height and how to get a professional finish.

What the workshop covers:

• How to insert a pocket into an existing dress
• How to insert a pocket into a new garment
• Pocket placement tips
• How to get a professional finish
• How to finish off with a contrast bias edge

Experience required:
Must be familiar with the use of a sewing machine.

• Use of our sewing machines and all other equipment needed
• Fabric and thread

Please bring:

• A garment you would like to add pockets to. (Please note: You won’t add the pockets in the workshop but you’ll be shown how to position the pocket and how to unpick the existing seams.)
