Rocket and Hero Lamps with Lou Jaeger Art Print
We love a great collaboration! Join us for this very special workshop event that celebrates Sunshine Coast and Brisbane artisans!
Take the stunning artwork of successful Buderim painter, Lou Jaeger, and marry it with a unique lamp base system designed and built in Brisbane*. Right there you have a combo that creates a stunning lamp for your home guaranteed to be a scene stealer!
In this workshop you’ll create your own professional-standard lampshade using a fabric panel printed with one of Lou’s paintings. You’ll then have the choice of several base options to create your finished lamp.
We have a selection of five special fabric prints by Lou Jaeger.
About Lou Jaeger Art
My art is a kind of story telling, a little bit of magic and a definite escape from the everyday stuff. Exhale moments…
Happy colours and a joyful interpretation of my landscape and environment is how I describe my painting practice. I’ve been creative since I was a kid and also studied a Bachelor of Design and Communication and a Diploma of Education. I paint from my small home studio in Buderim, Queensland and my artworks are about living on the stunning Sunshine Coast in Queensland, where we have a fabulous mix of beaches, hinterland ranges and rainforests. Enjoy.
Artwork titles All artwork has been made across 2020/2021 and sold as original work, art prints and now beautiful fabric. I am inspired by the beautiful landscape we live in here in Australia and hope my work is colourful, joyful, fresh and allows you to get happily lost as you travel around the story and discover new things as you go.
Fabric is printed by Applik Digital printing in Brisbane. My goal is to create beautiful homewares using my designs and collaborate with local artisan businesses that work ethically and mindfully.
