In this Kokedama Workshop, you will be guided step-by-step through a centuries-old Japanese art form.
Kokedamas are easy to make and so versatile. They can be hung individually, in groups or even placed on a small plate on a flat surface. And…they are extremely low maintenance, so if having a green thumb is not one of your claims to fame, fear not! You’ll be given all the tips to keep your kokedama in tip top condition!
In addition to the kokedama itself you’ll be taught how to make a modern macramé hanger in which to hang your kokedama. If you wish, you can also use the macramé hanger to showcase a beautiful pot. It’s really two workshops in one!
What’s included:
- A selection of plants to choose from
- All materials and tools
- A choice of strings
- A choice of plates
Skill required: This workshop is suitable for everyone! Brown thumbs welcome!
What you get to take home: Two handcrafted kokedamas; one for the modern macramé holder and one that’s sitting on a plate.
What to bring: An apron and gardening gloves/rubber gloves are optional.
