Gingham Crochet Throw

Gingham check is a classic design that originated in 18th century and is still widely included in fashion through to home decor today. The gingham pattern lends itself so well to this luxurious wool blanket.

In this workshop you’ll learn the stitches and techniques specifically required to create a gingham crocheted blanket. You’ll be guided step-by-step covering each element as well as how to adapt the pattern to suit your desires and applications. This workshop is suitable for new and experienced crocheters.

What’s included:

• The Gingham Blanket Crochet Pattern
• 6mm and 7mm Crochet Hooks
• Expert tuition and tips and tricks to get the best out of the pattern including pattern modifications

What to bring:

• Select your own two colours and bring along 4 skeins of 8ply yarn each colour, (total of 8 skeins). Or the equivalent of 50g per skein. Ideally the two colours chosen should contrast one another very well. For example navy and white have high contrast (good) but white and pale grey do not have high contrast (not ideal).
