Hey baby! Know someone who is or has recently had a new addition to the family? (Fur babies included). These cute Bandana Bibs make a practical and beautiful handmade gift and also a fantastic scrap buster!
In this workshop you’ll learn how to make a Bandana Bib from a pattern, apply interfacing, the techniques for sewing tight curves and how to attach snap fasteners successfully. These are all great skills that are transferable to other projects!
By the end of the class you’ll have learnt all you need to know to make these gorgeous reversible Bandana Bibs and be able to go home and whip up a little bundle for someone, because we all know that dribbling babies need bibs for days!
What the workshop covers:
- Working from a pattern
- Using interfacing
- Sewing curves
- Slip stitching by hand
- How to use snap fasteners
Experience required:
Comfortable with the basics of sewing.
Inclusions:
- Pattern
- Interfacing
- Snap fasteners
Use of studio equipment (sewing machines, scissors, pins etc)
Please bring:
- Minimum 40cm x 25cm fabric for the bib front (pre-washed and ironed)
- Minimum 40cm x 25cm fabric for the bib back (pre-washed and ironed)
- Matching thread
