I don’t usually custom make curtains but when a lovely friend asks you, how can you say “no”!

Leanna has just had her house painted inside and out and new curtains for several rooms were on the agenda to go with the new lovely rich tones in her bedrooms, living room and media room. I cut all this material this morning for two bedrooms. It’s an older house with lovely high ceilings and timber casement windows and French doors, so all the curtains are full length. This meant I had to cut each drop at 2.6m in length. Anyway, I set up a template for cutting on the big long studio table and that made the job easier!

I’m looking forward to sewing these… set up a system, just find a rhythm and it becomes quite a lovely mindful activity!
