Cushion cover nearly underway! I used the fabric at the left to cover two TV chairs last year. Today I am starting a cushion cover to go on a peacock coloured couch in the same room. I’m using a linen from Australian design company Ink and Spindle. I’ve had the fabric for a year or so. It was purchased with a voucher my daughter gave me for my birthday. I’ll back the cushion with the lighter coloured side of a piece of black denim left from an ottoman project. I am a big fan of having the backs of your cushions a different colour to the front. It allows you to introduce a big more texture and a layering effect. The other big plus is you can make your expensive fabric go further if you only put it on the fronts!! I’ll do a simple closure with an invisible zipper.
