Simple Open Weave Crochet Throw!
This is a lovely quick project….using 8 ply yarn, I am crocheting a small throw for No 1 granddaughter. It will be like a small child sized picnic rug that she can use in cubby houses, etc. I’m not using a pattern. It is simply a row of chain that is as long as you’d like for either the bottom or the side. Then using trebles separated by a chain, I crocheted my way back across the big row of chain working into each alternate space. The next row is exactly the same except that you put your trebles in the gaps created by the single chain stitch in the row before.
I’ll swap colours randomly as I go and keep repeating until it is the size I like.
