100 Days of Handmade//Day 76//

I love using fabric as gift wrapping, particularly when the gift is handmade and the recipient likes to craft!

This delightful doggy wrap holds a gift for a child (an alphabet cushion) and I know the family is doggy crazy. The fabric was secured at the back using pins and I finished it off using cotton twine with some felted wool balls as a finishing touch. There is no sticky tape in sight…the pins and the string hold it all together.

When you consider how expensive wrapping paper is sometimes, using fabric is a great alternative.
