I had crocheted these stars in the lead-up to Christmas but hadn’t used them for anything. I saw them today in my studio and thought how lovely the texture of the string would look against terracotta and a lush succulent.
So out came the string again. I joined the stars together and then crocheted a top and bottom cord so that I could tie them onto a pot!
As I was taking this photo, the late afternoon sun broke through a cloud and caught the top of the plant creating a beautiful yellow hue. This whole photo makes me very happy because the plant is a cutting from my mother who got her plant from a cutting from my sister!
