When Lauren and Josh married in May 2011 (a largely handmade wedding), they had their party at the heritage-listed Montville Village Hall. This hall has lots of character and is a blank canvas that you can theme however you want. Perfect!!! Lauren and Josh wanted a very casual and natural feel so we went with a colour scheme of browns and greens.
My Mum, Florence, made the table cloths, runners and napkins. Josh’s Mum, Jill, made 102 individual succulent pots for every guest using tealight holders from Ikea. The placecards were styled to look like baggage tags as the bride and groom love adventuring and travel. I used a variety of scrapbooking papers and made them between other projects in the months leading up to the wedding.
Seethe post for Day 7 to see how the whole hall looked!!! Spectacular!!
