A salute to the makers of fancy dress costumes
At this time of year, Mums everywhere are called upon to create costumes for Christmas plays, school break-ups, ballet concerts, fancy dress parties……
Here’s a salute to those who, usually with not too much notice, get into creative mode and whip up some costume magic!
This photo is of my Thunderbird-obsessed husband at a fancy dress event in the 90s. Amazing really what you can create with some blue cotton poplin and some gold satin.
He had the Virgil impersonation down pat!!!
