97/100: 100 Days of Making

Drying time!!

Well, the studio looks like a bit of the proverbial “Chinese laundry”! We have been screen printing pieces of leftover denim to make pockets for the aprons for our helpers for Makers Escape. The pockets are now drying before I bundle everything up and drop it off to my wonderful mum who is going to stitch the aprons for me. The main part of the apron will be grey denim from a my stash (I’ve had a roll of it for years) and the straps will be made from an assortment of leftover fabrics from other projects. I really like to work with what I have and recycle wherever possible.

There may even be a few aprons for sale at Makers Escape! Only 9 sleeps!!! Counting down!!
